Trims and Powertrains
The Acadia offers a quartet of trims to choose from: Elevation, AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate. The powertrain pairs a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine (328 horsepower and 326 lb.-ft. of torque) with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Elevation, Denali, and Denali Ultimate return an EPA-estimated 20 mpg city and 27 mpg highway with the standard front-wheel drivetrain (FWD). These trims are all eligible for the all-wheel drivetrain (AWD) that comes standard on the AT4. Regardless of trim level, AWD Acadias achieve an estimated 19 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
The Elevation and FWD Denali ride on independent MacPherson front struts with coil springs, side-load compensation modules, a stabilizer bar, and a five-link rear suspension. The AWD Denali, AT4, and the Denali Ultimate with either driveline come standard with a performance suspension. The AT4 adds active torque vectoring and hill descent control for enhanced traction. Every 2026 Acadia has a 5,000-pound towing limit when properly equipped.
