Trims and Powertrain
The restructured lineup for the 2026 Silverado has three trims: Work Truck (WT), LT, and Trail Boss. They all have a crew-cab body, a 71-inch cargo bed, and dual-motor electronic four-wheel drive. There are three battery pack sizes: Standard, Extended, and Maximum (Max). The WT and LT are available with any of these batteries, while the Trail Boss starts with the Extended and can be upgraded to the Max pack.
Horsepower for the WT (regardless of the battery pack size) is 510, while the LT can make 605 to 760. The Trail Boss with the Extended pack produces 625 horsepower, increasing to 725 with the Max battery. The WT produces 490 to 580 lb.-ft. of torque, while this output rises to 605 to 765 lb.-ft. in the LT. All versions of the Trail Boss put out 775 lb.-ft. of torque.
Each configuration’s all-electric range is determined by battery size. With the Standard pack, the Work Truck can travel 286 miles on a full charge, while the LT is reduced slightly to 283 miles. The Extended battery boosts the distance capability to 424 miles for the WT and 410 miles for the LT (which is the same for the base Trail Boss). The Max pack delivers 493 miles of range for the WT and 478 miles for the LT and Trail Boss. Chevrolet estimates that Level 2/240-volt charging at peak capacity adds 37 miles per hour of charging. Via Level 3/DC fast charging, the Max battery pack can be reenergized as quickly as 100 miles per 10 minutes of charging. All 2026 Silverado EVs have vehicle-to-home (V2H) power transfer capability.
