Trims, Powertrains, and Performance
Buyers have a choice of three trims with the ‘25 Blazer EV: LT, RS, and SS. Each is available with four distinct powertrains. The standard is a single-motor front-wheel drive (FWD) and 85-kWh battery configuration that makes 220 hp and 243 lb.-ft. of torque. The EPA-estimated range for this setup is 312 miles; it’s also capable of 150-kW DC fast-charging. The second option is a dual-motor AWD system producing 300 hp and 355 lb.-ft. of torque. It has an estimated range of 283 miles and uses the same 85-kWh battery as the base powertrain.
The two-motor rear-wheel drive (RWD) powertrain – which is only available for the RS – puts out 365 hp and 325 lb.-ft. of torque. It offers superior range at 334 miles through a higher-voltage 102-kWh battery (also compatible with 190 kW DC fast chargers). With the SS, you’ll get an enhanced version of the dual-motor AWD system generating a maximum output of 615 hp and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. It also comes with a 102-kWh battery and 190 kW DC fast-charging capability, but its range caps at 303 miles.
