That’s exactly what you’ll get with the 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV. Designed to impress in every respect, this eco-friendly midsized crossover offers a variety of performance-focused powertrains, including the jaw-dropping dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) system which cranks out 615 horsepower and rockets from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds. The RS trim will give you EPA-estimated range of up to 334 miles, with DC fast-charging capability that keeps you on the move with minimal downtime.

Chevy has refined the top-notch Blazer EV for 2025 with increased power and range, plus new personalization options. The LT is now eligible for the Midnight and Sport appearance packages, as well as a two-tone roof in either black or white. Super Cruise hands-free driving is also available for the LT and RS, while coming standard with the high-performance SS. What’s more, a striking new exterior color, Habanero Orange, joins the lineup, giving drivers another way to stand out from the pack.

Trims, Powertrains, and Performance

Buyers have a choice of three trims with the ‘25 Blazer EV: LT, RS, and SS. Each is available with four distinct powertrains. The standard is a single-motor front-wheel drive (FWD) and 85-kWh battery configuration that makes 220 hp and 243 lb.-ft. of torque. The EPA-estimated range for this setup is 312 miles; it’s also capable of 150-kW DC fast-charging. The second option is a dual-motor AWD system producing 300 hp and 355 lb.-ft. of torque. It has an estimated range of 283 miles and uses the same 85-kWh battery as the base powertrain.

The two-motor rear-wheel drive (RWD) powertrain – which is only available for the RS – puts out 365 hp and 325 lb.-ft. of torque. It offers superior range at 334 miles through a higher-voltage 102-kWh battery (also compatible with 190 kW DC fast chargers). With the SS, you’ll get an enhanced version of the dual-motor AWD system generating a maximum output of 615 hp and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. It also comes with a 102-kWh battery and 190 kW DC fast-charging capability, but its range caps at 303 miles.

Equipment by Trim Level

While it may be the default trim, the LT is far from basic. It comes well equipped with remote engine start (including via the smartphone app), cloth upholstery, single-zone automatic climate control, Keyless Open, a power driver’s seat, front and rear recovery hooks, automatic on/off LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, an acoustic-laminated windshield, deep-tinted rear glass, an 11-inch color driver information center, five USB ports, a 12V power outlet, and 19-inch machined-face aluminum wheels.

The RS builds on the base trim’s roster with Evotex perforated suede upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a heritage-inspired heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats with position memory for the driver and power adjustability for the passenger, wireless phone charging, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a universal home remote, and ambient interior lighting. It also gets Chevy’s AutoSense power liftgate, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an illuminated front light bar, animated front and rear LED lighting, heated auto-dimming side mirrors, and 21-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with black accents.

As is the performance-focused version of the Blazer EV, the SS is distinguished by Brembo brakes, a specially tuned fully independent suspension, and self-sealing all-season tires on 22-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with carbon-flash accents. Beyond that, it includes a head-up display, heated rear seats, a heated wiper park, and a rear-camera mirror with a built-in washer.

Active Safety Tech

The ‘25 Blazer EV is well supported by the Chevy Safety Assist suite of advanced driving aids. All trims are equipped with a surround-view camera (HD Surround Vision), adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, blind-zone steering assist, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beams, rear parking sensors (Rear Park Assist), a following distance indicator, forward collision alert with pedestrian and bicyclist detection, Chevy’s Safety Alert Seat (which vibrates in the direction of a potential collision), an LED reflective collision alert on the windshield, enhanced automatic emergency braking, and rear seat reminder. The SS comes fully loaded, getting Automatic Parking Assist and Super Cruise, Chevy’s advanced hands-free driving technology.

Connectivity and Entertainment

The centerpiece of the ‘25 Blazer EV’s interior is a 17.7-inch Google built-in infotainment system. In addition to integrated Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play Store, it has navigation, natural voice recognition, SiriusXM satellite radio, a 5G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, and access to OnStar connected services. The SS moves up from the standard six-speaker audio system to a more sophisticated eight-speaker Bose with a subwoofer and an amplifier. The SS also gets a three-year trial to OnStar Digital Services.
