The 2026 Chevy Trailblazer comes your way in four distinct trim packages: LS, LT, RS, and Activ. The LS, LT, and RS receive a 137-horsepower turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). For added pep, these trims can be upgraded with a turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder engine that makes 155 hp, which is standard in the range-topping Activ.
While front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard across all trims, all-wheel drive (AWD) is available for those who want enhanced traction and control. The AWD option with the LS, LT, or RS automatically includes the more powerful 1.3-liter engine and swaps the CVT for a nine-speed automatic transmission.
According to the EPA, the ‘26 Trailblazer with the 1.2-liter engine and FWD returns 30 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. The combination of the 1.3-liter turbo with FWD changes this slightly to 29 mpg city/33 mpg highway. Meanwhile, AWD models with the 1.3-liter engine offer a balance of performance and efficiency, returning 26 mpg city/29 mpg highway.
The LS is outfitted with amenities that balance necessity with a touch of convenience and comfort. It has cloth upholstery, an 8-inch digital driver information display, two USB data ports (one Type-A and one Type-C), a 60/40-split folding rear bench seat, power-adjustable side mirrors, automatic on/off LED headlights, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. The LT upgrades that list with remote start, proximity keyless entry, heated side mirrors, roof-mounted side rails, LED daytime running lights, and deep-tinted rear glass.
The RS has a sportier, more aggressive look with black exterior accents. It also adds several interior comforts like heated front seats with power adjustability for the driver, a heated premium-wrapped steering wheel, a wrapped shift knob with satin silver and chrome trim, and a rear-seat center armrest. Beyond that, look for distinctive LED taillights and large 19-inch wheels. The Activ tops the range with the more powerful 1.3-liter turbo powerplant, unique exterior accents, and 17-inch wheels wrapped in sport-terrain tires. A panoramic sunroof is available on all trims except the entry-level LS, adding open-sky views and a premium touch to the cabin. The two higher trims are eligible for a two-tone exterior treatment.
All ‘26 Trailblazers receive a suite of advanced driver-assistance technologies. This includes forward collision alert, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, a following distance indicator, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, and high beam assist (automatic high beams). For added peace of mind, every trim can be equipped with rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane change alert with side blind-zone alert. In addition to these active safety technologies, all trims have Chevy’s Teen Driver system, which helps promote good habits for young and inexperienced drivers.
For all trims, the infotainment system consists of an 11-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth for hands-free phone use and audio streaming, voice recognition, SiriusXM satellite radio, and an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot. The standard six-speaker audio system provides crisp sound quality across the board, but buyers of the RS and Activ who are looking for a more immersive experience can upgrade to the available seven-speaker Bose setup.
With the Convenience Package (available for the LT, RS, and Activ), you’ll enjoy enhanced comfort and technology thanks to automatic climate control, two USB charging ports (one Type-A and one Type-C), a 120-volt power outlet, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and wireless phone charging. In the case of the LT, this package also adds a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a rear-seat center armrest, and a power liftgate. For the RS and Activ, the liftgate is upgraded to a hands-free power liftgate with LED logo projection. The LT is also eligible for the Cold Weather Package, which bundles heated front seats, a heated wrapped steering wheel, and a wrapped shift knob. For the RS and Activ, the Adaptive Cruise and Sound Package is available, offering adaptive cruise control and a premium seven-speaker Bose.
Safety enhancements can be added through the Driver Confidence Package, offered for the LT, RS, and Activ. This suite includes rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane change alert with side blind-zone alert. A similar option, the LS Confidence Package, is available for the LS, bringing the same helpful driver-assist features to the base model.
