Trims and Powertrain

The 2025 Silverado EV has three trims: the LT–Extended Range, the RST–Extended Range, and the RST–Max Range. All three trims are available exclusively in four-wheel drive (4WD) and have dual electric motors—one located at the front and one at the rear. The LT–Extended Range and RST–Extended Range produce the same 645 horsepower, but the RST–Extended Range’s 785 lb.-ft. of torque beats the LT–Extended Range’s 765 lb.-ft. The RST–Max Range matches the RST–Extended Range’s 785 lb.-ft. of torque, but leads the pack in horsepower at 760 ponies. The RST–Max Range boasts a 460-mile drive range, followed by the LT–Extended Range at 408 miles, and the RST–Extended Range at 390 miles.

The LT–Extended Range offers the top towing capacity at 12,500 pounds and maximum payload of 1,800 pounds. The RST–Max Range has the second-highest payload capacity at 1,500 pounds—narrowly beating the RST–Extended Range’s 1,420-pound payload, but the RST–Extended Range pulls more with a 10,500-pound towing capacity, besting the RST–Max Range’s 10,000 pounds.

The Silverado EV can quickly charge an estimated 100 miles of range in 10 minutes, and its power extends beyond the truck itself with electrical offboarding to power other devices. The LT–Extended Range leads in fuel economy, returning an estimated 74 MPGe city and 61 MPGe highway, with the RST trims coming in at 70 MPGe city/59 MPGe highway. The LT–Extended Range has an 11.5-kW onboard charging module, while the RST trims receive a 19.2-kW module, and all models are capable of DC fast charging.

Standard Equipment and Optional Packages

The LT–Extended Range is set up for utility with LED bed lighting, a 12-volt auxiliary power outlet, three 120-volt auxiliary power outlets (in the center console, eTrunk, and bed), a 240-volt outlet (bed), 7.2-kw split phase offboarding power, a Multi-Flex tailgate with EZ Lift assist and power lock/release, and a power hood on the eTrunk. Its interior amenities are Evotex upholstery, 12-way power-adjustable heated and ventilated front bucket seats with lumbar support (and position memory for the driver’s seat), a heated steering wheel, an 11-inch digital driver information display, a heated 60/40-split folding bench seat, dual-zone automatic A/C with rear vents, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a universal home remote, wireless smartphone charging, four USB ports (two front, two rear), solar-tinted glass, a cabin humidity sensor, ambient interior lighting, and carpeted floor mats. On the exterior, look for keyless entry, remote start, molded assist steps, active grille shutters, heated power-folding exterior mirrors (auto-dimming on driver’s side) with memory, LED Intellibeam headlights, LED taillights, LED daytime running lights, and 18-inch High Gloss Black-painted aluminum wheels (22-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with aero inserts are optional).

The RST–Extended Range receives a Multi-Flex midgate with pass-through between the cab and bed, a 14-inch head-up display, a panoramic fixed-glass roof, a digital rearview mirror, and a Chevytec spray-on bedliner (all of which are available on the LT–Extended Range). It also has a flat-bottomed wrapped steering wheel, remote-control windows, an LED center high-mounted stop light, and 24-inch Carbon Flash Metallic aluminum wheels with a machined face. The RST–Max Range adds upgraded exterior mirrors with integrated turn indicators and puddle lights.

Both RST trims come with the Trailer Integration Package (available on the LT–Extended Range), which includes blind-zone steering assist with trailering, trailer camera views, and the in-vehicle trailering app. The RST-standard Ride Control Package contains active rear steering, adaptive air ride suspension, and continuous damping adaptive ride control.
