Chevy offers the swan-song version of the Camaro in seven trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, LT1, 1SS, 2SS, and ZL1. The first three (1LT, 2LT, and 3LT) have a 3.6-liter V6 engine with an output of 335 horsepower and 284 lb.-ft. of torque. The next three (LT1, 1SS, and 2SS) come with a 6.2-liter V8 engine that’s rated for 455 horsepower and 455 lb.-ft. of torque, while the range-topping ZL1 has a supercharged version of the V8 that churns out a hair-raising 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. All trims are eligible for either a six-speed manual transmission or a ten-speed automatic with paddle shifters (steering wheel mounted).
The base V6 returns an EPA-estimated 16 mpg city and 26 mpg highway with the manual and 18 city/29 highway with the automatic. The 6.2-liter V8 engine achieves 16 mpg in the city with either tranny, while the highway rating is 24 mpg for the manual and 26 mpg for the automatic. The supercharged V8 returns 14 mpg city/20 mpg highway with the manual gearbox and 13 city/21 highway with the automatic.
The 1LT has power-adjustable front seats (8-way driver and 6-way passenger), single-zone automatic climate control, a manual day/night rearview mirror, body-color power outside mirrors, and 18-inch silver aluminum wheels. The 2LT adds leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control, while the 3LT has an 8-inch driver information center, a head-up display, wireless device charging, a heated steering wheel, 24-color ambient lighting, aluminum interior trim, memory settings (driver’s seat and outside mirrors), a rear camera mirror, and heated auto-dimming outside mirrors.
The LT1 provides the same basic features as the 1LT with the addition of Brembo front brakes, a performance suspension, and 20-inch silver aluminum wheels. The available RS Package can be added to the 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, or LT1 for signature LED lighting, black front and rear bowtie emblems, unique RS front grilles, dark tinted taillamps, a deck-lid spoiler (coupe version only), and 20-inch 5-split-spoke gray machined aluminum wheels.
The 1SS starts with a features roster resembling that of the 2LT but adds front and rear Brembo brakes, superior engine and transmission cooling, and Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3R summer tires on 20-inch 5-spoke silver aluminum wheels. The 2SS gets 20-inch wheels and summer tires, plus the same features as the 3LT (highlights: leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated/ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging, and a head-up display). Both the 1SS and 2SS can be equipped with the SS 1LE Track Performance Package containing a satin-black hood wrap, black side-view mirrors, a black front splitter, upgraded Brembo brakes, 20-inch Satin Graphite forged aluminum wheels, red brake calipers, a performance-tuned suspension, a dual mode exhaust, an electronic limited-slip differential, a suede-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, magnetic ride control, and Recaro front bucket seats.
The ZL1 comes with most features from the 2SS with the Track Performance Package, along with Magnetic Ride Control, Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar G2 tires on trim-specific 20-inch Dark Graphite forged aluminum wheels, and a sueded microfiber wrap on the steering wheel and shifter knob.. The available ZL1 1LE Extreme Track Performance Package will furnish a satin-black hood wrap, front dive planes, a unique front splitter, a carbon-fiber weave hood insert and rear spoiler, low-gloss black outside rearview mirrors, a performance suspension with DSSV dampers, rear stabilizer bars, front spring seats, and adjustable camber plates, red calipers, and 19-inch low-gloss black forged aluminum wheels.
The special Camaro Collector Edition Package can be added to any trim for unique exterior badging, a black center stripe (satin on the LT1 and SS, metallic on the ZL1), upgraded paint schemes, a sueded microfiber-wrapped flat-bottomed steering wheel, and 20-inch 5-split spoke forged aluminum wheels, either black or polished (LT, LT1, and SS) with available black lug nuts. With the LTs, this package adds a black lower grille, a carbon flash metallic front splitter, satin black outside mirrors, and sport rear spoiler (coupe version); the LT1 also has red-painted front calipers. Added to the SS are red-painted rear calipers and carbon-fiber instrument panel molding, while the ZL1 has a visible weave carbon-fiber rear spoiler, black fuel filler door with visible carbon-fiber insert, a Mosaic Black Metallic front grille and splitter, and a performance copper-free brake system. The ZL1 also qualifies for the Garage 56 Edition package (Riptide Blue Metallic paint, special graphics and badging, carbon-fiber interior and exterior elements, performance wheel center caps, a wicker bill, black rear blade spoiler, and performance data and video recorder).
All 2024 Camaros have a rear vision camera. The 3LT, 2SS, and ZL1 also get lane change alert, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision alert, and rear park assist.
The 1LT, 2LT, and LT1 get the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system with a 7-inch touchscreen, wireless phone connectivity (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), Bluetooth, and a sound system with six speakers. The other trims upgrade to the 8-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus system, while the 3LT, 2SS, and ZL1 add a premium Bose sound system (nine speakers in the coupe and seven in the convertible). The 3LT, 2SS, and ZL1 are eligible to add navigation, and a performance data and video recorder is available on every trim except the 1LT.
