2021 Buick Enclave for Sale in Johnston, RI
As a midsized three-row crossover, the 2021 Buick Enclave caters to those who require a vehicle that offers comfort and space. While there are quite a few options at this price point, Buick’s largest vehicle stands out for being more upscale and eye-catching. With its top-end amenities, sleek looks, plush ride quality, and abundance of standard equipment, it has a lot to offer a wide range of buyers. It seats up to seven with plenty of interior space, including clever underfloor storage that keeps valuables safely out of sight.
Trims and Powertrains
The ’21 Enclave comes in four trim levels: Preferred, Essence, Premium, and Avenir. The power comes from a 310-horsepower 3.6-liter V6, which is paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Preferred is only available with front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is optional for the others. The ’21 Enclave is a versatile vehicle that can tow up to 5,000 pounds, making it ideal for everyday driving and weekend escapes. According to EPA estimates, the FWD versions get 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway, while the AWD ones return 17 city/25 highway.
A turbocharged 2.8-liter (181 hp and 369 lb.-ft. of torque) four-cylinder diesel engine, which also gets the six-speed automatic tranny, is available for the crew-cab short-box LT and ZR2 trims. It’s able to tow a maximum 7,700 lb. In the 4WD LT, it achieves 19 city/28 highway; in the ZR2, it gets 18 city/22 highway. Most trims come standard with rear-wheel drive, but a four-wheel drive system is available (and standard with the ZR2).
Standard and Optional Features
The Preferred gets some excellent standard features, including 18-inch wheels, automatic LED headlights, heated side mirrors, roof-mounted side rails, keyless entry and ignition, remote start, a hands-free liftgate, rear parking sensors, heated power-adjustable front seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a rearview camera, two second-row captain’s chairs, and a 60/40 split-folding third-row bench seat. Everyone on board can stay connected, thanks to six USB data ports and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. The Essence adds perforated leather upholstery. It’s also eligible for the Avenir Technology Package (adaptive suspension, adaptive cruise control, and an enhanced automatic emergency braking system). Many of those top features are optional for the lower-level ones. All trims – except for the Preferred – qualify for the available rear-seat entertainment system.
Safety and Technology Features
The Essence gets lane change alert with side blind-zone alert and rear cross-traffic alert. The Premium and Avenir add lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, and a Safety Alert seat, which vibrates to get the operator’s attention when a warning is activated.
The Preferred and Essence are issued the well-stocked base infotainment system, which has an 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming capability, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker audio system, and SiriusXM Satellite Radio.
